Negros Province Escapade: Dumaguete, Valencia, and Apo Island (With Itirenary and Travel Guide)

Last September this year, my friends and I decided to explore the famous spots of Negros Island since many of our friends are from there. I am very thankful to have made this decision because our Negros adventure was absolutely one of the best trips of my life.

The newly hailed Negros Island of the Philippines is graced with so many wonders of nature. In our 2-day trip, we already visited a falls, a small island, and a nature park! How cool and swift is that? We get to trek, climb, walk, swim, jump, pumpboat ride, and many more challenging activities.

Since I was not the one who planned the entire trip, I will not be able to give out all the details with regards to the expenses and some small details about the trip. Forgive me for that.

Alright, let’s start with . . .

From Cebu City, we rode a bus to Santander, Cebu, wherein we boarded a ferry to Dumaguete. Upon arriving at Dumaguete, we right then settled at our hotel.

Itinerary and the Adventure!
BELOW is a summarized itinerary for the whole trip.
I have separated the blogs for each adventure, so please click them as you go down!

That would be all for the adventures. I hope you read’em and took a glimpse of the pictures. They might excite and convince you to go, too!

For the details of the expenses, I cannot share them because I did not plan the whole trip. All I can say is that, for a group of 12 people, we only prepared Php3000 per person, which already includes the pocket money. That amount was enough for the whole trip.

Before I end, let me mention some travel hacks:

  1. Travel early.
  2. Sleep well at night. No to partying or you will not have the strength for the next day of whole day walking, rock hopping, and swimming. *laughs*
  3. Bring lots of water wherever you go.
  4. Everything is expensive for visitors. So, before actually going pack some foods or search for places where you can buy cheap stuff.
  5. Don’t take to many pictures. Enjoy the moment!
  6. Always know how to bargain. People are overpricing everytime a visitor comes and talks to them.

That would be all for now.
I am very sorry for not including a summary of expenses for this trip. This has been the first time that I don’t have that part in my blog. Perhaps next time I will take note of the expenses even if I was not the planner of the trip. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for reading!
