#LearnFromTheWorld: The 80-year-old Volunteer Guardian of Mt. Nokoyama in Japan

Us, humans, have abused nature in our way to creating a modern civilization. The number of forests we cleared, mountains we flattened, and animals we slaughtered can no longer be fathomed. That is why, it is truly inspiring to find people who devote their selves in protecting nature. I have been given the privilege of meeting one of those kind hearts. This inspiring soul is an 80-year-old volunteer Environmentalist. We all call him Ichida-san; Mt. Nokoyama’s Guardian.

The Magic that is Nabana no Sato

Nabana no Sato was in the itinerary of the pre-booked tour that I booked for that Saturday. Unfortunately, I missed the tour despite being there 30 minutes before the meetup time. Yes, I missed my packaged tour, but I figured that I shouldn’t let it hinder me from visiting this beautiful place. After spending a whole day there, I’ve never been so grateful of missing a pre-booked tour in my whole life.

Come and see the magic that is Nabana no Sato!

A 7-hour Layover Travel Guide for Bangkok, Thailand

My trip back home to the Philippines last August 2019 has brought me to a lot of places because I decided to travel Multi-city. This trip to Thailand was actually not intended, but since I couldn’t anymore find a cheap flight to Japan with only Singapore as a Layover point, I just went for it.

This travel guide is for people who are wondering what can be done in Bangkok if ever they happen to layover to this beautiful city for just a couple of hours. If you happen to be interested with that, read ahead!

I love travelling multi-city. Last August 2019, on my way home to the Philippines from Japan, I dropped by Taiwan for 2 days and 1 night. This time on my way back to Japan, I decided to drop by real quick to Singapore and Thailand.

Singapore is also one of those countries that I consider for quickstops. Main reason is that, it is a small city-state, thus it only takes a short time to tour around it. I took the liberty of dropping by Singapore for 1 day and 1 night. What to do in Singapore for that short period of time? Well, read ahead!

This article, on the other hand, is a travel guide on what can be done if you happen to layover in this beautiful country for 2 days and 1 night. If you happen to be into that, read ahead!
